Volunteer Hubs

Connect With Your Community

Connecting Point’s Volunteer Hubs make it easier to find meaningful ways to give back and connect local organizations with people ready to help.

Whether you’re looking for a one-time opportunity, ongoing volunteer work, or a new way to get involved in your community, the Volunteer Hub provides one central place to get connected.

For Volunteers:

Find Opportunities That Fit You

Explore volunteer opportunities based on your interests, availability, and the causes that matter to you. Create a free account to connect with participating organizations and keep track of your volunteer activity in one place.

Track & Verify Your Volunteer Hours

The Volunteer Hub also provides a simple way to track your volunteer service. Report the hours you complete through the Hub and have them verified by participating organizations, creating a record of your service all in one place.

For individuals who may need to complete volunteer hours to meet CalFresh ABAWD work requirements, the Volunteer Hub can help you find opportunities and document your completed volunteer service. Verified hours can help provide documentation of qualifying volunteer activity needed to maintain CalFresh eligibility. With your consent, verified volunteer hours can also be shared directly with the County, helping simplify the process of documenting qualifying volunteer activity.

If you have questions about whether ABAWD requirements apply to you or what activities qualify, contact your County eligibility worker.

For Community Organizations

The Volunteer Hub helps local nonprofits, public agencies, and other eligible organizations reach people who are ready to get involved. Participating organizations can share volunteer opportunities, connect with interested community members, and verify completed volunteer hours.
