1. Create your unique user profile and complete your online Orientation through the Provider Enrollment Application. This includes watching the State-mandated Orientation videos.
2. Complete and sign the required enrollment documents online:
- 1. SOC846 – Provider Enrollment Agreement
- 2. SOC426 – Provider Enrollment Form
- 3. Schedule your in-person Orientation appointment with Connecting Point; 270 County Hospital Road Quincy, CA 95971 by calling your IHSS Home Care Coordinator at (530) 205-5224.
1. Attend your scheduled in-person appointment at 270 County Hospital Road Quincy, CA 95971
2. Present a valid, unexpired State issued ID and Social Security Card
3. Obtain your Department of Justice (DOJ) Criminal Background Check form for your Live Scan fingerprinting
1. Schedule and attend your Livescan fingerprinting appointment. To find a provider near you visit: https://oag.ca.gov/fingerprints/locations
2. You will be provided a copy of this completed form by the fingerprint roller for your records

Once you have completed all required steps, you will be contacted by email and receive a letter with your Provider Number, the link to the timesheet website, and all your next steps.
If applicable, you will also receive a form SOC2271 detailing all the IHSS tasks authorized for your Recipient.
The State of California considers it a condition of employment that a Provider enrolls and utilizes either the ESP (online) or TTS (telephone) timesheet system.
To be able to complete timesheets and paid for your services, you must be registered in either the Electronic Timesheet Service (ETS) on the ESP or Telephone Timesheet System To register for Telephone Timesheet System (TTS) please call 1-833-342-5388
Please complete the necessary steps to enroll in Direct Deposit for the payments received working for your Recipient. Note that each Recipient is considered a separate “employer” and Direct Deposit enrollment is required for each individual Recipient. This process generally takes around 30 calendar days to complete.
If applicable, please also complete the “Live-In Provider Self-Certification” at this time, by attesting to this within the online portal.
If enrolled with an IHSS Recipient, your timesheets are available to you at this time. Please complete each available timesheet to ensure processing. Note that your Recipient acting as your employer is the person who can approve your timesheet, and it is recommended that you inform them of timesheet completion in a timely manner.
